Baltimore, MD – September 2, 2026 - The talmidim and staff of Yeshivas Toras Simcha were privileged to welcome HaRav Avrohom HaLevi Schorr Shlita for a special visit today, as the Yeshiva prepares for the upcoming Yamim Noraim.

Rav Schorr addressed the talmidim about Rosh Hashanah, sharing insights into the significance of reciting the bracha of Shehechiyanu and focusing on the importance of emes. He explained the close connection between living with truth and the judgment each person faces on Rosh Hashanah.

During the visit, Rav Schorr asked the talmidim to join him in a heartfelt song. The room came alive as the talmidim enthusiastically sang “Vezakeini,” creating a meaningful and memorable moment together with the Rav.

Following his remarks, Rav Schorr personally greeted each of the middle school talmidim, shaking each boy’s hand and giving him an individual bracha.

The special visit provided the talmidim with an uplifting opportunity to hear words of Torah and chizuk as they approach Rosh Hashanah, leaving them with a powerful message of emes, personal growth, and preparation for the year ahead.
