BeMore Giving, a charitable initiative supporting institutions and organizations throughout the Greater Baltimore Jewish community, has reached a significant milestone: $400,000 in total giving.

BeMore Giving has built its model around a simple idea: when individuals make small, consistent contributions to local organizations, those gifts can create a powerful collective impact. The organization encourages community members to give tzedakah on a daily basis, helping both strengthen local institutions and cultivate a lasting habit of generosity.

The $400,000 milestone reflects the combined impact of countless individual gifts. Rather than depending primarily on large, occasional donations, BeMore Giving has created a steady stream of support fueled by everyday acts of giving.

“Our goal is about more than simply raising money,” said Rabbi Elie Meyer, Executive Director of BeMore Giving. “We want to create a culture of giving throughout our community and make tzedakah something that everyone has the opportunity to practice consistently.”

The milestone is a testament to the generosity of the Baltimore Jewish community and to the power of collective action. Each contribution may be modest, but together, those gifts have provided meaningful assistance to organizations serving the community.

For BeMore Giving, reaching $400,000 is both an accomplishment and an opportunity to look ahead.

“We’re proud of what our community has accomplished together,” Meyer said. “And we’re excited to see how much more we can accomplish when even more people make giving a regular part of their lives.”
