Baltimore, MD – October 22, 2026 - Exciting progress continues at Torah Institute/Yeshivas Kochav Yitzchak as construction of the Cheder's new building moves steadily forward. With walls beginning to rise and rooms taking shape, the vision of an expanded campus is becoming more visible with each passing week.

Recent construction milestones include the paving of an additional section of the parking lot and the beginning of work on the elevator shaft and stairwell areas. Crews are also excavating and pouring wall footings for the new gymnasium, while rock drilling continues in preparation for the next phases of construction.

Baruch Hashem, these developments mark significant progress in Torah Institute's ambitious expansion project, designed to accommodate its rapidly growing enrollment of more than 930 talmidim and provide the facilities needed to support their continued growth in Torah and chinuch.

As the new building begins to take shape, the Cheder looks forward to reaching additional milestones in the months ahead. Torah Institute's administration expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the families and broader Baltimore community for their continued patience, encouragement, and support throughout the construction process.

Each new wall, foundation, and completed section brings Torah Institute one step closer to realizing its vision of a beautiful, expanded campus that will serve generations of Baltimore's Bnei Torah.
