Baltimore, MD – November 2, 2026 - It was a morning filled with excitement, joy, and nachas as the first-grade talmidim of Yeshivas Toras Simcha celebrated a special milestone: receiving their very first Chumash!

Under the guidance of their devoted Rebbeim, Rabbi Tuvia Tessler and Rabbi Dovid Smart, the talmidim delighted their parents, grandparents, and families with spirited dancing, festive songs, and a beautiful presentation celebrating this important step in their Torah learning.

A particularly meaningful moment came when the young talmidim proudly read the very first pasuk of the Torah, marking the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning and growing in Torah.

Each boy was presented with his own Chumash Bereishis, a treasured gift symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter in his development as a Ben Torah.

The celebration concluded with joyous dancing as parents, grandparents, siblings, and talmidim joined together, sharing in the tremendous simcha of this memorable occasion.

May these young talmidim continue to grow in Torah and ahavas haTorah, bringing endless nachas to their families, Rebbeim, and all of Klal Yisrael!
