Baltimore, MD – November 2, 2026 - Exciting progress continues at Torah Institute/Yeshivas Kochav Yitzchak, where construction of the Cheder's new building is moving steadily forward. With classrooms beginning to take shape and major infrastructure work advancing, the vision of an expanded campus is becoming a reality before the community's eyes.

Among the latest milestones, rock patch drilling is nearly complete, marking an important step in preparing the site for continued construction. The retaining wall is also nearing completion, providing a critical foundation for the expanding campus.

Perhaps most exciting is the visible progress on five new classrooms, where walls are already going up. These future learning spaces will provide additional room for talmidim to grow in Torah and develop under the guidance of their Rebbeim.

Work has also begun on the rear wall of the new gymnasium, while crews continue installing essential piping and infrastructure, including the main lines that will serve the new building.

Each passing week brings noticeable changes to the construction site, reflecting the tremendous momentum behind this ambitious project. What began as a vision to accommodate the Cheder's continued growth is now taking physical shape, one classroom and one wall at a time.

Torah Institute expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the families, supporters, and broader Baltimore community whose generosity, patience, and tefillos continue to make this expansion possible.
